So I'm fascinated with psyche, which in Greek means both “butterfly” and “soul”. That is where psychology comes from, the study of the soul, and is what I have my degree in. I came upon psyche in my psychology of religion class. If I ever got a tattoo, it would probably be of a butterfly because of this reason. Butterflies are a transformation of something not quite as beautiful, and I feel like I'm always trying to transform myself into the best version of myself. Also, the actual Greek Goddess Psyche, is part of one of the greatest love stories in my opinion. I find her fascinating. But I'm really into psyche as the soul and the butterfly. It's about transformation into the best person you can be.
